Fair-Mont-Egan was created in 1967, when three original schools consolidated into three schools; Fairview, Montford and Egan. The school has been since remodeled to create new classrooms, a gymnasium, music room and a library. FME is a Kindergarten through eighth grade school located in Kalispell, MT.
Our school is an integral part of the community. There are various events held throughout the year to celebrate students, families, and staff. Some of these events are: music concerts, seasonal sports, the talent show, Donuts for Dads, Missoula Children’s Theater, and the end of the year community picnic!
Our gym and cafeteria are also available for use. Please call the office at 406-755-7072 if you are interested in using the facilities or sharing events happening in the community.
Our Location
This maps show the location of Fair-Mont-Egan School. Coming from Kalispell, you drive east on Montana Hwy. 35 towards Bigfork. Approximately 1 mile east of the Flathead River Bridge you will turn right on Fairmont Road. Proceed south on Fairmont Road nearly 1 1/2 miles and the school is on the Northeast corner of the intersection of Jaquette Road and Fairmont Road. As you can see, as you come across the Flathead River Bridge over Montana Hwy. 35 the boundary heads as far north as Middle Road Crossroad north of Hwy. 35, then as far east as Hwy. 35. The southern boundary of the district is the Flathead River as well as the western boundary. Hopefully this map will give you a visual idea of the area our district encompasses.
